Childcare at EPSC2025
EPSC values the presence of young children and their parents during the conference and provides free-of-charge childcare for children aged above 1 year. The children are going to be supervised by trained kindergarten teachers in a spacious room at the conference venue.
The childcare is available Monday to Friday (08 – 12.09.2025) from 08:00 to 18:00.
Please note that bookings will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Maximum capacity is 10 children at any given time.
No-show fee: the childcare provided by EPSC2025 is free of charge, however, a no-show fee of 50 Euros per reserved block will apply.
Childcare bookings by email will be accepted from 9 July 2025 once the programme schedule is published. The booking deadline is 8 August 2025. We ask for your understanding that any bookings after this date may not be accommodated.
To book childcare, please send an email to epsc@copernicus.org with the following information:
- Time blocks: Date and time for the required childcare.
- Contact person (parent): First and last name, Copernicus Office user ID, and mobile phone number.
- Child: First and last name, age, and spoken languages.
- Data sharing agreement: Please confirm in your email that Copernicus Meetings is allowed to share the above data with the caretakers.
Please remember that no food or drinks are provided during the childcare service. So, please make sure to pack a bag of provisions for your child and/or have a lunch break with your child.
Breastfeeding
Do you need a quiet space to nurse your baby? The venue will have quiet rooms/ breastfeeding rooms available. More information will be provided closer to the meeting.
